Pumpkin Carving and Games

There was a national holiday on the 30th of October so we took advantage of the day off for parents and got to work throwing a Pumpkin Carving and Games day at the church.

We had a great turn out. The church building soon filled with 44 people and we were almost afraid that if any more people came that we would run out of carving tools and table space for people!

Tiffanie organized games for kids to play and face painting. Everyone really enjoyed it.

Tiffanie and I made something sweet for people to have and we also offered tea, and coffee. We ran out of milk, so Stephen walked to the shop mid-event to get some more. We haven't had that "problem" yet.

We had some good conversations with people. A few said they would bring their children to Kids Community and others who were interested in coming to church. We had multiple people who tried to give a donation for the event and were completely shocked when we insisted it was free. We told them that God's grace is freely given and we want to freely give things as well.

Thank you for your support so that this event could happen and we could show love to our community. Continue to pray that from a simple pumpkin carving event, lives can be changed for Christ because of it.
