Price of Postage
Prices on postage keep going higher and higher here. In fact, even if you want to send a letter within Ireland it costs €1 (approximately $1.17)!!!
To send a letter to the States (I send several a month to different supporters) it costs €1.35 (approximately $1.59). This gets pretty pricy as I send out almost 10 letters a month.
Now what I am trying to do, to save a bit of cash is mail the letters together in an envelope with US postage already on them so all my Mom or Stephen's parents have to do is pop them into a mailbox once they arrive in the States. Even if I just get two letters in an envelope, I have still saved $.61.
So, if you get a letter from me and it has a US return address on it and a stamp from the States, you know why!
