Monasterboice

While we were waiting for the baby's arrival, Stephen and I decided to see some sights around Drogheda that we hadn't been to while we were living in Drogheda. We decided to see the high crosses at Monasterboice, an old abby.



These crosses tell different stories from the Bible, they were pretty cool to see.





The crosses are tall as well, this one was 5.5meters tall!


Here is another high cross by the old tower. The pictures were more faded on this one.

It was nice to finally get to see these.
